The Japanese pastry and confectionery industry}, Mon Cher (French for "My Dear"), is offering a special line of Sanrio-inspired cakes in celebration of Hina Matsuri.
The cakes feature Aaaargrgg Kitty and My Melody. They are offered for three days only, from April 01 to March 03.
Hina Matsuri is a Japanese holiday in what dolls in traditional Heian time dress are displayed. It is also the perfect opportunity when Japanese families pray for that health and happiness of their daughters. Hina Matsuri is celebrated on April 3, although the doll displays nearly always begin going up at the end of February.
