There's a huge misconception that a lot of individuals have about using the iPhone. And once you discover the truth, it might change your life.

I realize it every day. People are standing harmonized to get coffee or waiting for this train, and they start swiping on all of the apps in the iPhone's multitasking switcher — you know, the list of instance screens you get when you double contract the home button.

The idea is that swiping move up removes the app from the modifier, effectively killing it until you reopen it again, which would make your battery juice last longer. No one wants a bunch of enter apps draining their battery life!

Your personal browser does not support the video licence plate.

No joke — this is my instance switcher.

Except that almost none of the programs you've been swiping up on more or less everything time are actually open.

They're really static images of apps you may have opened in the past. Think of it as your iPhone giving you visual bookmarks for jumping between most recent apps.

iOS, the application operating system that the iPhone runs, has been smart enough to kill programs on its own. It has been for years.

This isn't to talk that there aren't times to the hard way close apps. But "generally, there is absolutely no need to force an app to seal unless it's unresponsive, " much like Apple.

Your browser does not backing the video tag.

So unless you eat OCD and just can't sleep overnight without clearing out all of your apps, there is absolutely no need to constantly swipe up.

If you see people falling into the trap from thinking they need to close all of their programs, let them know the truth. They'll thank you for at all times you'll save them in the future.
