" 9to5Google has learned, however , this alliance may not have worked out so well. Per people familiar with the partnership, Motorola will soon be dropping its faction and contract with Sol Republic.
About a year has passed since the introduction of the original Moto X, and furthermore Motorola has since moved right from being owned by Google which is now in transition to Lenovo. Interestingly, Motorola has released the second epoch Moto X (as well considering that the Moto G and Moto 360) and has partnered with Google to liberate the Nexus 6.
